Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers about our products, OEM/ODM, and how American mahjong works. Still stuck? Contact us.
What is in a complete American mahjong set?
A standard American set has 166 tiles (including 8 jokers and flower/season tiles), four racks, four pushers, a wind indicator, and a carrying case — everything four players need.
Are your sets compatible with National Mah Jongg League rules?
Yes. Our sets use the 166-tile layout required by NMJL play and work with the current annual card. You will need to purchase the official card separately.
How is American mahjong different from Chinese mahjong?
American mahjong uses 166 English-labeled tiles with jokers and plays to an annual NMJL card of hands; Chinese mahjong uses 144 unlabeled tiles with different scoring. See our American vs Chinese guide.
Where do you ship from?
We manufacture and ship from our facility in Shenzhen, Guangdong, China. We support EXW, FOB, and CIF terms and ship worldwide, with extensive experience delivering to the U.S.
What are your lead times?
Samples ship in 3–5 business days. Wholesale production typically completes in 15–30 days depending on quantity and customization.
Do you offer OEM / private label?
Yes. We provide OEM/ODM for tiles, cases, mats, and gift boxes, including custom printing and branding at volume.
What size mat do I need?
A 32–33" square mat fits a full four-player American layout with room for racks.
Do pushers fit every set?
Our pushers fit standard American tiles about 1.2" wide. Measure your tiles if you use a non-standard set.
Do I need a new NMJL card every year?
Yes — the league updates the legal hands annually, so each year's card is required for that year's play.
Can I order in bulk for a club or retailer?
Absolutely. Contact us for wholesale and bulk pricing on sets, mats, and cards.
